Female suicide bomber detonated a bomb today at the Federal College of Education Niger State

Information have it that a lone suicide female bomber detonated a bomb today at the Federal College of Education Kontagora Niger State at about 11.45am.

The blast was said to have instantly killed the suicide bomber and left two female students critically injured.

It is believed the suicide bomber was heading for the lecture auditorium but the bomb detonated before she could get there.  The body of the bomber was said to have been mutilated.  Her identity is not yet known.

It would be recalled that a similar incident happened two days ago at the Government Science Secondary School Potiskum, Yobe State which killed about 49 students and left at least 75 injured.
