Man 27 years remanded in prison custody for raping an 11-year-old girl with Down Sydrome

How heartless can man be! 
 
The Evboriaria Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Ikpoba Okha, Benin City Edo State has remanded in prison custody a 27-year old man, Austin Okonkwo for allegedly raping an 11-year-old girl with Down Syndrome. 

 

The accused, who was tongue lashed when his victim was presented in the court, pleaded not guilty to the one-count charge preferred against him. 
 
 
According to the police prosecutor, Aigbedion Obakpolor, he said the offence was committed on November 29. 
 
 
The Chief Magistrate, Frank Idiake, who complained of increase in rape cases however denied the accused bail.   
 
 
A relative of the victim, who pleaded anonymity after the court sitting, said the accused took the girl to his room where the act was committed.  The relative said the victim cried of pains in her private part, which led to the arrest of the accused. 
 
 
The case was adjourned to January 21, 2015.

  1. I which Court should not grant bail to that rapist. Ah, the man is so wicked imaging 27years man with a Child of 11, that have not even, develop sexualy, oh: If not wickedness what is it, on that little girl, which attiracted him. Is they no commerical sexs workers in Edo state?. I suggest Federal Government of Nigeria should introduce more capital ponisment to people like this , may be that will reduce all kind's of sexual harrasment in this Courntry.
