Tailor killed in an uncompleted building by unknown persons

 
Some yet-to-be identified gunmen have killed a 38-year-old tailor, Oluwasegun Adegbenjo, in Oke-Abiaye, in the Alagbado area of Lagos State.
 
Adegbenjo was shot dead in an uncompleted building where he had gone purportedly to meet someone.
 
It was gathered from a source that the killers did not steal anything from the deceased. His jeep, which he drove by himself to the site, was also left untouched at the scene of the murder.
 
The incident happened on January 28, around 11pm.
 

Police arraign five suspected cultists for killing a man

The Lagos police have arraigned five men before an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrate’s Court in Lagos State for allegedly killing a 23-year-old man, Damilayo Ayodele.
 
The defendants, Emmanuel Eguku (23), Adefemi Qudus (24), Odukoyo Deji (23), Hoteyin Oladeji (29) and Emeka Ekenjoku (32), were arraigned on Monday on three counts of belonging to an unlawful society and murder.
 
It was learnt that the men were members of the Aiye Confraternity.
