Hong Kong police are searching for a 12-year old girl who has allegedly made off with a $6million diamond necklace stolen during a robbery at a luxury jewellery shop on Saturday.
According to the South China Morning Post, two women
and a man and the young girl entered the Emperor Jewellery Shop at the 1882
Shopping Centre in Tsmin Sha Tsui before 3pm.
The adults apparently distracted the store’s staff
while the girl stole a key from the drawer, opened a cabinet display, and
slipped the 100-carat gold necklace, embedded with over 30 diamonds, into her
pocket. She was caught on CCTV footage
calmly walking out of the mall.
