Meet New York City model Kelly Lee Dekay ... who just so happens to have a 16-inch waist, and if you don't think that looks like it hurts like hell, then you're not looking closely enough.

During a recent interview, Kelly Lee claims to have been waist training for 7 years, and as you can see in the above photo, her steel-boned corset has shrunk her waist to a mere ... well, 16 inches. That's tiny, y'all. And steel-boned? That just sounds agonizing.

Wizkid arrested in Nairobi for smoking an illegal substance in his hotel room

News coming from Nairobi has it that Wizkid was arrested at the Nairobi Crown hotel for smoking an illegal substance in his hotel room.

 

Wizkid was in Nairobi to shoot a video and also had some shows.  He was said to have been arrested at the time of checking out when it was discovered that he had smoked an illegal substance in his room.

Beyonce is set to design a line of athletic wear for the London-based retail chain Topshop.

 

The singer and the store formed a 50-50 joint venture company called Parkwood Topshop Athletic Ltd., according to a news release statement released Monday. “This is not a collaboration. This is about building a brand and building a business — a separate, proper business, with separate overhead and a separate office,” Topshop owner Sir Philip said.

Alleged rapist paraded at the OAU Senate Building this evening

The below picture was taken this evening at the Obafemi Awolowo University and posted on the twitter handle of the school of an alleged rapist caught red handed.

 

So far, there are conflicting stories.  While some alleged that he is a student of the school, others says he is not.  But both agreed he was caught in the act.

Victim of Marysville Pilchuck High School Washington DC shooting, dies

Gia Soriano, the beautiful 14-year old girl shot at close range by Jaylen Fryberg died last night at the hospital where she has been on life support.

 

Her family released a statement saying, ''we are devastated by this senseless tragedy.  Gia is our beautiful daughter and words cannot express how much we will miss her''.

28 year old man found guilty for stealing a large pot of soup

A 28 year old man, Abiodun Ojedokun has been sentenced to six days of community service for stealing a large pot of soup.

 

Mrs, Bola Osunsanmi of Somolu Magistrate Court in Lagos today sentenced him to 48 hours of community service for each counts after Abiodun pleaded guilty to the three counts of conspiracy, burglary and stealing.  Mrs. Osunsanmi said, “Based on the facts of this case before this court, the confirmed report and your plea of leniency, I hereby sentence you to 48 hours community service on each of the counts,''.

 

 

Suspected baby thieves arrested in Anambra

The Police have arrested a man and his pregnant wife for stealing 10 children from different hospitals in Anambra State in south-east Nigeria.  They were paraded along with some nurses who are their accomplices.

The suspect Mr. Friday Chibueze, and his pregnant wife, Amauche Chibueze, were into the business of stealing new born babies from hospitals in connivance with nurses working in such hospitals.

 

 

Armed robbery gang leader killed in Niger State

Niger State Commissioner of Police, Olusola Emmanuel Amore, said at the weekend that the police have killed the leader of an armed robbery gang that had been terrorising border towns between Nigeria and Benin Republic  for 20 years.

 

He said  the robbery kingpin was killed by the police in a gun duel and that they operate mostly on market days between the border villages of Kabe and Safeluna dispossessing traders of the money and valuables.

 

 

Prosecutors to appeal against Oscar Pistorius verdict

South Africa's state prosecutors say they will appeal against the conviction and sentence handed to Oscar Pistorius.  They say they are not happy with the five-year jail sentence that he was handed last Wednesday, or the culpable homicide offence which he was convicted for.

 

 

Captain of South African football team Bafana Bafana shot dead

The captain of the South African national soccer team was fatally shot at his girlfriend's house during an attempted robbery Sunday night as he tried to apprehend the intruders an eyewitness said.  Goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa was killed around 8 p.m. after two gunmen entered a house in Vosloorus township near Johannesburg while an accomplice of theirs waited outside. The 27-year-old Meyiwa was shot in the upper body.

 

 

President Jonathan to receive the Super Falcons on Wednesday

Nigerian Sport Minister, Dr. Tammy Danagogo has announced that a proposal has been sent to the president to host the Super Falcons on Wednesday.   And that he is very sure the president will be happy to receive the falcons.

He praised the falcons for doing Nigeria proud during the tournament and in Namibia. 
The Super Falcons are expected back to the country today after departing Johannesburg at 11pm says the Sport Minister.

The falcons defeated the Lionesses of Cameroon 2- in the final of the AWC in Namibia last Saturday.

Residents of Lateef Bello, Ogunbewon, Taiwo Adediran and Alhaji Hamzat streets all at Igando area of Lagos are currently living in fear.  This is because of letters purportedly written by armed robbers to them.

Governor Rotimi Amaechi while speaking on Saturday at a graduation ceremony said his problems with the first lady started when he refused to give her money in Abuja.  ''The  quarrel between me and the wife of the President is because she said I should bring your money, Rivers people  money and share with her,” the governor reportedly said.

Children reunite with their father after 8 years of abandonment

The three children Titilola, Seun and Seyi whom their father abandoned in a boarding school for eight years finally got their prayers answered when their father Segun Adepegba visited them at the school on Friday.

 

Emotions ran wild when children and father reunited with Adepegba promising never to abandon them again.
