Bobbi Kristina's grandmother, Cissy Houston visits her in the hospital



 Bobbi Kristina's devastated grandmother has visited the 21-year-old's bedside to join the family's heartbreaking vigil hours after her cousin said the 'odds are against her'.

Cissy Houston, the mother of late singer Whitney, was seen walking into Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, on Friday to join a vigil with other family members.

Kim who spent her Friday posting naked pictures of herself for Love Magazine was spotted later that day, looking prim and proper and with a brand new haircut.

The reality star was wearing a demure outfit as she filmed scenes for Keeping Up With The Kardashians with mother Kris Jenner at the DMV in Westlake Village, California.
 

PVC: All markets in Lagos State to be closed today


 
The Lagos State government has ordered the closure of all markets in the state today.
The closure is to enable all market men and women to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC).
The order was passed down to the market men and women through their various market heads on Friday.
The state government had declared yesterday a work-free day for its workers for the same purpose.

On November 20, 2014, every parent’s nightmare became a reality for 42-year-old Ayedun Shitta-Bello. It was a normal Saturday. There was nothing out of the ordinary that morning that could foretell the tragic news she was about to hear.
 
“I did not even have a nightmare or a bad dream that could make me think that such a terrible thing had happened,” she told our correspondent.
 
Barely out of bed that Saturday morning, Shitta-Bello got a call from her brother, Prince Musaliu Buhari.
 
“Come quick, please, don’t ask why, just come,” she was told on the phone.
 
Shitta-Bello said apprehension set in as she tried to understand what could have warranted such an early summon.

DSS arrest former governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva


 
Operatives of the Department of State Services on Friday allegedly arrested a former governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva over unknown offences.  He was said to have been whisked away by DSS personnel to an unknown location.

President Goodluck Jonathan has urged Nigerians to pray for the peaceful conduct of the general elections.

He said this when he visited the monthly Holy Ghost Service of the Redeemed Christian Church of God at the Redemption Camp, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Friday.

ISIS claims airstrike by Jordan killed US hostage

Islamic State extremists claimed that an American woman held hostage by the group was killed Friday in a Jordanian airstrike in northern Syria, but the government of Jordan dismissed the statement as "criminal propaganda" and the U.S. said it had not seen any evidence to corroborate the report.
