The Airbus A320-232 departed from the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris at 9.30am this morning and reportedly declared an emergency at 10am while flying over the English Channel.
The plane has now landed safely at London Heathrow airport.
A spokesperson for BA said the plane landed after a "suspected technical problem".
The spokesperson said: "Our highly trained pilots landed the aircraft safely at Heathrow after a suspected technical problem. Safety and security is always our top priority."
