For Halloween, Blue Ivy came out dressed as the King of Pop to attend a Halloween bash with her parents in the City's West Village.  She dressed in the Billie Jeans' iconic red and gold jacket, with a pink mic, dark glasses and white hand gloves.

Her mother Beyoncé, decided to be a ''Janet Jackson'' for the night.

 

 

Zambian White President says his blood is black

Guy Scott, the first white person to rule Zambia since 1964 when the country gained its independence, and the only white president in Africa said today at Lusaka that though his skin is white, his blood is black.

 

He also said he has refused to grant interviews because the media keeps referring to him as a white president.

French Montana, 29,  opened up to US Weekly about the love he still bears for his ex, Khloe Kardashian, 30.  He said, "Our relationship – you break up you make up, you break up you make up,  "We went through that a couple times. You never know."
 

Despite their split last month after being together for eight months, sources says both are still friendly and there is no bad blood between them.  Montana said, "She's good. She's the best. There's no bad blood with her. I love how she is. She inspires me as a person. I'm sure I inspire her in many different ways. We just have that special relationship. Right now we're in a special zone… She's a beautiful person. I don't think a lot of people know how beautiful she is."

 

Plane returns back to Gatwick Airport as part falls off

A major disaster was averted today when an Egypt bound flight with 237 passengers on board had to turn back after it was noticed that the plane over wing slide had fallen off.  The fault was reported while the plane was over Belgium.  It had to return back to Gatwick.  And luckily flight TCX1638 from Gatwick to Hurghada landed safely.

Khloe Kardashian's followers on instangram is now 14 million.  In honour of this great achievement, the 30-year-old star decided to celebrate by posting a sexy snap of herself on the media site.

 

In the picture, she wore a lacy black bodysuit, sky-high jewel-encrusted stilettos, and a smattering of gold jewellery.  She then struck a pose perched on a barstool that put her figure front and centre.  Blurring everything in the shot other than herself there by emphasising her legs.  She made a point to play a little coy, however, hiding all of her face but her eyes.

 

 

Ebola Update: US nurse who refused to be quarantined

A Maine judge on Friday rejected a bid by state health officials to restrict the movement of nurse Kaci Hickox, who defied a state quarantine for medical workers who have treated Ebola patients.

 

Judge Charles C. LaVerdiere ruled that Hickox should continue daily monitoring and coordinate travel with state officials so monitoring can continue. But, because she's not showing symptoms, the judge says she's not infectious.

 

   

Bill Cosby accused of rape by 13 women???

Bill Cosby was to make an appearance on Queen Latifah's talk show to promote his new comedy tour.  But the scheduled appearance was called off because Queen Latifah and her crew got cold feet due to rape allegations that are trailing Bill Cosby.

 

Particularly, Comedian Hannibal Buress called Cosby out last week during a stand up comedy and asked if people remember that Bill Cosby has been accused of rape by 13 women over the years.  It was learnt this story went viral again.  And since Queen Latifah did not want to be involve with any of such story, they had to cancel his appearance from their show.

Two Malaysian teenage boys today in Kuala Lumpur sued the Malaysian Airlines and the Malaysian Government on negligence over the disappearance of the MH370 flight.

 

The case which the boys filed through their mother is the first known legal action taken by anybody connected to the flight.

Mother to spend 3 years in jail for putting a gun in her son’s backpack

A court in Houston has asked a woman to serve at least 3 years in jail for putting her boyfriend’s gun in her son’s bag to get the boy into trouble at school.

A judge yesterday sentenced Heather Hodges, who pleaded guilty to unlawful carrying of a weapon on restricted premises.  Investigations say Hodges believed the 13-year old boy had mistreated her two younger children.

A teacher rapes a 6-year-old girl in a school in Bangalore

A teacher in Bangalore, India has been arrested for raping a 6-year-old girl at a public school.  This is coming just one week after a nursery student was allegedly raped at a different school in the same city.

Jaishankar, 37, was arrested last night after the little girl complained of pains in her genital to her mother.  She was taken to a doctor who confirmed she had been sexually assaulted.  The mother then reported to the school.

Plateau State University Vice Chancellor sacked

The Vice Chancellor of the newly re-christened Solomon Lar University, Prof. Danjuma Sheni has been relieved of his job by the governor of the state, Jonah Jang.

 

A statement from the office of the secretary to the governor states that Prof. Danjuma Sheni was removed due to ''inappropriate behaviour''.

 

Burkina Faso Army seizes power

Burkina Faso’s army seized power on yesterday, while it dissolved the parliament and government to form a transitional body to run the country.

 

The military’s action followed violent protests which erupted against President Blaise Compaore’s plans to extend his 27-year-rule.

 

Man in court for issuing a dud cheque

Mr. Lateef Shoroye has been taken to court by the EFCC for issuing a dud cheque to Mr. Basil Okonkwo.  Lateef it was alleged sold a non-existent piece of land to Basil for N3,000,000.  But it was later discovered that the piece of land has been sold to another person.  Basil then demanded for a refund and Lateef issued him a cheque of N3,000,000 which unfortunately was returned by the bank due to insufficient fund.

 

The accused despite the fact had jumped bail in the past, was again granted bail and the case was adjourned to January 19, 2015 for commencement of trial.

F Ikponmwen of an Edo State High Court, sitting in Benin- City on a 6- count charge bordering on forgery, obtaining money by false pretence and  possession of fraudulent documents. A drug trafficker, Kingsley Agu, 32, who was arrested yesterday at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport during the screening of an inward Emirate flight from Dubai, with substance suspected to be cocaine has cried out saying, he took to smuggling drugs so as to be able to foot his dead father's burial.

 

He said he was trading in Aba, Abia State before he was lured into drug trafficking by economic hardship.

A teenager, Wasila Tasi'u, 14, who is alleged to have killed her husband and three of his friends in April 2014, failed to utter a word yesterday during her trial in court.

 

The case which is being held at the Gezawa High Court, Kano and has attracted the attention of human rights community was stalled when the suspect bluntly refused to utter a word.

Aftermath of the withdrawal of the security details attached to the Speaker House of Representatives, Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal in a statement written and signed by his media aide, Malam Imam Imam, has come out to tell the Inspector General of Police that he breached the law by ordering that his security details be withdrawn from his residence.

 

He said he received with shock and amazement the statement which was issued yesterday stating the reasons why his security details were withdrawn.
