Khloe Kardashian still using estranged husband's name two years after filing for divorce



Khloe Kardashian is said to still be using her estranged husband’s name two years after she filed for divorce.

Khloe said she is yet to discard her basketball player ex name in documents she obtained with the name when she bought a land in Armenia.  She is currently on a pilgrimage tour to her ancestral country of Armenia with her sister Kim, her brother-in-law, Kanye and 22-month-old North West.

A snap of the document posted on Instagram clearly shows her double surname as Kardashian-Odom.

World's first cloned camel is pregnant



According to scientists, the world’s first cloned camel is pregnant.
The mother-to-be, whose name is Injaz meaning ‘’achievement’’ in Arabic was cloned from the ovarian cells of a slaughtered camel in 2009 and born from a  surrogate mother.
Injaz was six years old this week and is said to have conceived naturally
Dr Nisar Wani, scientific director of the Reproductive Biotechnology Centre in Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, told The National, ‘We are very excited because Injaz is now pregnant and we expect to have a calf from her late this year. 

Dozens of athletes were today killed in Morocco road collision

A fiery head-on collision between a semi-trailer truck and a bus carrying a delegation of young athletes in southern Morocco has killed at least 31 people and injured nine, according to Morocco state news agency.
 
The news agency quoted authorities as saying that the crash took place just before sunrise on Friday in the district of Chbika, near the southern desert city of Tan-Tan.
 
Reports also stated that celebrated 10-km runner Hassan Issengar, 31, was among the dead.
 
The bus was heading from the capital Rabat to Laayoune in Western Sahara.

A helicopter belonging to the Nigeria Air Force crashed today in Lagos


A helicopter belonging to the Nigerian Air Force which was on a training mission crashed today in Lagos.

According the Nigerian Air Force spokesperson, Dele Alonge, he said the helicopter which suffered severe damage crashed at about 10.00am today due to hydraulic failure.

He also stated that it was returning back to the apron after completing a training exercise.

No casualty was recorded.  And full investigation will be carried out to ascertain the reason(s) for the crash, he said.

Feelers from Hillary Clinton camp says the powerful woman/politician will officially announce her campaign to become America's first female president this weekend.
The former First Lady faces no substantial competition for the Democratic nomination in 2016 but is anticipating a long battle to win the support of the country.
A variety of sources in the Clinton orbit said they were anticipating an imminent announcement but would not confirm reports that the announcement was expected to come at Sunday lunchtime in the form of an announcement on social media.

The Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in Lagos State, Mr. Jimi Agbaje, has urged Igbo across the state to push the All Progressives Congress ‘into the lagoon’ by voting for him on Saturday.
Agbaje said this while addressing Igbo traders at the Alaba International Market on Thursday.
The PDP candidate urged them to ignore the threats made by the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, that if they do not vote for the APC governorship candidate on Saturday, they would die in the lagoon.

TMZ obtained a letter which Mariah claims she wrote to famed publicist Cindi Berger, who has represented the singer for 15 years.
 
Mariah says in the letter, "I've done a lot of soul-searching this past year ... and I found myself asking if I was truly employing a healthy perspective ."

Oronto Douglas: On May 18, His US doctor told him He had just few days to live


 

Jonathan aide on research, documentation and strategy, Oronto Douglas, died in the early hours of Thursday, three weeks after his doctors told him he had a few days to live.
 
He was diagnosed with cancer in 2008 and had been battling the disease since then with “encouraging signs” of improvement, according to a family source.
 
At some stage, he was thought to have survived as the cancer went into remission, but he suffered a relapse in 2011. He had been visibly sick in the last one year, losing weight dramatically and sometimes needing a wheelchair to move around in the last three months. Douglas, a trusted aide of Jonathan, travelled to the US in March for his regular check-up and was told by his doctors that he could not survive further medication.

Sex workers and their supporters flooded the streets of Amsterdam, in protest against the plans to ‘reinvigorate’ the famous ‘Red Light District’- as the city has decided to close some of the iconic windows, where sex-workers have sat for years to entice clients, foreign and local.
 
Amsterdam is famous for its open-minded, party lifestyle with the legal usage of marijuana and sex work enticing racier travellers and students for decades. The country is worried about what the decision will do to tourism.

The Nanny who Kidnapped the Orekoya Three Boys is Demanding N15 Million for their Release


 
The nanny who kidnapped three of the Orekoya boys from their Surulere home is said to have contacted the Orekoya family on Thursday and has also demanded N15million as ransom. 
 
The Orekoya family had posted an advert 0n OXL, an on-line platform seeking for the services of a nanny for their 4 boys.
 
Mary Akinloye (the kidnapper) got in touch with the family indicating her interest to take up the offer.  During her brief interview, she gave the contacts of two of her supposed relatives who lived in Ikorodu.  These relatives were contacted and they affirmed that they were indeed her relatives.

Vanguard staff escape death as 40-ft container fell on their vehicle, truck driver was smoking Indian Hemp

 
Eight Vanguard staff narrowly escaped death yesterday, after a 40-foot container fell off a truck and landed on five vehicles, four of which were Vanguard’s, at Berger Yard Bus Stop, along Oshodi-Apapa Expressway, Lagos.  
The vehicles, two Toyota Hilux pick-up vans with number plates AKD 509 AH and AKD 507 AH; a bus, AGL 51 BJ, and a black Hyundai Verna, JJJ 513 CM, were for circulation of Vanguard newspapers.
The fourth vehicle belongs to a staff of Julius Berger Construction Company.
The vehicles were parked by the entrance to Julius Berger’s Euro 65 facility premises because of the perennial traffic gridlock along the expressway, which usually affected the circulation of the national daily.
