Professor Of Art Forces Students To Strip Naked, Perform Erotic Gestures Before They Can Graduate From The University

 
An Art Professor of the University of California has been accused of making final year students strip naked in a candlelit room in front of the whole class and himself before they can pass the visual art course and graduate.
Infact, at the University of California, San Diego, it is stated this naked final exam is a course requirement for a class in the visual arts department.
Students are also made to perform gestures that traces, outlines or speaks about their erotic selves.
A disgusted mother has spoken out against the requirement on local ABC News, after her daughter told her of the final exam. 
The mother insists that the requirement is not made clear at the start of the course, and called it a 'perversion'. 

Defector Claims South Korean Jim Jong-un Ordered His Aunt Poisoned For Protesting Against Her Husband's Execution

 
Dictator Kim Jong-un ordered his own aunt to be poisoned, a North Korean defector has claimed.
In an interview, one of the most senior officials to defect said Kim was responsible for the death of his aunt Kim Kyong Hui - wife of Jang Song Thaek who was executed late 2013.
Kim had Jang, 67, his one-time political mentor described as the second most powerful figure in North Korea, killed on an array of charges, including treason and corruption.
'On May 5th or 6th of last year, Kim Jong-un ordered his aunt, Kim Kyong Hui to be killed,' the defector told CNN. 

Chuka Umunna Has Announced His Intention To Become UK Labour Leader

 
Labour's shadow business secretary Chuka Umunna announced his bid to become Labour leader in a video released online this morning.
The modernising MP for Streatham in south London made the announcement on Facebook after savaging Labour's disastrous election defeat.
He is the second Labour MP to join the race to replace Ed Miliband, after Blairite shadow health minister Liz Kendall announced her bid on Sunday.

The US government lied to the world about how Osama bin Laden was killed, skewing the facts so Obama could claim political glory, an investigative journalist, Seymour Hersh claims.  
 
It is alleged that the Pakistani government had been holding the 9/11 mastermind in his Abbottabad compound - located in a residential area known to be vastly populated by military officials - for years. 
 
The CIA learned of his location after a high-ranking intelligence officer in the country tipped off the US in the hope of claiming a $25 million bounty, the journalist claims. 
 
In his investigation, the Pulitzer prize-winning journalist also alleges that the Obama administration negotiated with the Pakistani government and its intelligence officials from the ISI ahead of the raid, but then later claimed it was a secret infiltration mission. 

Kevin Prince Boateng Fired By Club



A year after his altercation with the Ghana national football coach Kwesi Appiah at the last world cup, Kevin Prince Boateng has been sacked from his club Schalke with immediate effect in what looks to be disciplinary measure against him by the club.

The team’s management released the statement below.

Schalke sporting director Horst Heldt announced there would be consequences after Sunday’s defeat away to 1. FC Köln and the first action has been taken: Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sidney Sam have been released with immediate effect. Marco Höger is suspended from training and first-team action up to and including Saturday, 16th May.

Also sacked is Nigerian Sidney Sam who had been underperforming for some time.

Picasso's Women Of Algiers Painting Smashes Auction Record, Sold For $160Milion

 
 
Picasso's Women of Algiers has become the most expensive painting to sell at auction, going for $160m  at Christie's in New York.

 
Eleven minutes of prolonged bidding from telephone buyers preceded the final sale - for much more than its pre-sale estimate of $140m.
 

The final price of $179.3m includes commission of just over 12%.
 

The sale also featured Alberto Giacometti's life-size sculpture Pointing Man, which set its own record.
 

It is now the most expensive sculpture sold at auction, after going for $141.3m.  Both buyers chose to remain anonymous.

Greece Cash Might Run Out In Two Weeks


The Greek finance minister has admitted his country may have just enough cash to meet its financial commitments for a "couple of weeks".
 
Yanis Varoufakis was speaking after a meeting of his eurozone counterparts in Brussels as Greece confirmed it had scraped together enough money to make an International Monetary Fund (IMF) repayment of €750m due on Tuesday.
 
A source at the Greek central bank said an emergency account was used to meet the bill.
 
The country has been unable to shake off worries about its liquidity because of the failure to unlock €7.2bn being withheld by creditors who want financial reforms in return for the aid.

Mayweather served jail time for physically beating Harris in 2010, but Harris now seeks $20 million in damages due to public comments Mayweather recently made about her.

Another Earthquake Of 7.4 Magnitude Hit Nepal Again, 4 Deaths Recorded

 
Another massive earthquake shook Nepal this morning, killing at least four people and sending thousands of people in the capital Kathmandu rushing out in to the streets.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake had a magnitude of 7.4 and struck 42 miles west of the town of Namche Bazar, close to Mount Everest and the border with Tibet.
An international agency confirmed that at least four people had been killed in the town of Chautara. 

Selling Illegal Drugs Is Big Business - Suspect Arrested By NDLEA

 
A suspect arrested by the Niger State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has admitted that selling banned drug is big business for him, because with the proceeds, he married three wives.

The Commander, Mr. Joseph Iweajuanwa, told Crime Watch Today in Minna, that 638.87 kilogrammes of the banned drugs seized in the state were cannabis, 11.7kilogrammes, dizapham, 23.03 kilogrammes, tranagol while 29.26 kilogrammes were cough syrup with codeine.

He said a total of 526 kilogrammes of the drugs were seized in March in Kontagora. According to the
NDLEA boss, the agency secured four convictions out of 26 suspects.

The suspect, Abdullahi Aliyu, who is now cooling his heels at the Minna headquarters of the agency over allegations of selling banned drugs said he resorted to dealing in drugs when his efforts to join the Army failed.

Another Bangladeshi Blogger Hacked To Death

 
A masked gang of four wielding machetes has hacked a blogger to death in northeastern Bangladesh in the third such deadly attack since the start of the year, police said.
 
Ananta Bijoy Das was killed in the Subid Bazar area of Sylhet city as he walked to work at around 8:40am on Tuesday morning, Sylhet Metropolitan Police Commissioner Kamrul Hasan stated.
 
Ananta Bijoy was said to be just 400-500 metres away from his office when he was intercepted by the gang with sharp cutting weapons.
 
"What we found is that he wrote about science and the evolution of the Soviet Union," he said, adding that Das was also a bank employee.

Thousands lined the streets of the Liberian capital to celebrate the country being declared free from the deadly Ebola, which killed 4,700 people in the West African country. 
 
The festivities in Monrovia come after the World Health Organization made the announcement over the weekend, finally giving the country hardest hit by the outbreak something to celebrate.  
 
The government declared a public holiday to allow school children and workers to take part in a festival in the capital Monrovia featuring traditional dance and contemporary music.

Ed Miliband flew to Ibiza with wife Justine for a holiday to help him get over his devastating defeat in last week's General Election.

The former Labour leader was spotted on a BA flight from London City Airport to the Spanish holiday island, where he is apparently taking a last-minute break.

Electrician Murders Okada Rider In Nnewi

 
According to Sun Newspaper, a 20-year-old electrician at Akaboedoji, Uruagu Nnewi in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State, at the weekend, stabbed one Lotanna Izeji, a motorcyclist, and father of two to death during a fight.
 
The suspect, whose name was given as Onyeka, now at large, was said to have waylaid the 48-year-old deceased, as he was riding home, following a misunderstanding between Izeji and his father.
 
A source stated that during a hot argument that ensued, both men, were engaged in a fight but were separated by passers-by.   They were said to have  resumed the fight when they returned home as they lived in the same building.

91-year-old Madam Roseline Ololo has sent a 7-day ultimatum to the governor of Lagos State, Raji Fashola to return back to her the Metropolitan College and Isolo Secondary School which the Lagos State government took from her or she will be forced to permanently occupy the office of the governor.
 
Madam Ololo who made this threat through her counsel Malcolm Omirhobo said she will remain in Fashola’s office until her demands are meant. 
 
Madam Ololo and her late husband established the Metropolitan College in 1955 with an initial 19 students in Surulere, Lagos.  For expansion purposes, they moved to Ire- Akari, Isolo in 1974. 
 
In 1976, through the Education (Private Secondary Institutions Special Provisions) Law, the Military Government of Lagos State took over 48 Private Secondary Schools from their owners, including Metropolitan College.

A 14-year-old girl, Jibola (pseudonym), has said she willingly had sex in a hotel on Omotolu Street, Amukoko, Lagos State, with one Abib Muftau, who had been dating her since 2014.
 
The girl made the confession after the police arrested 19-year-old Muftau, for unlawfully having a carnal knowledge of her.
 
The suspect was also accused of conniving with one other person at large, around 7pm on May 2, to detain the girl at his residence on Adejinyan Street, where he reportedly had another round of sex with her.
 
It was gathered that the minor returned home late on the fateful day and was quizzed by her mother. It was learnt that she eventually divulged her whereabouts to the mother, who reported the incident at the Amukoko Police Station, leading to Muftau’s arrest. 

Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe Loses First Son at 75 Years


Chukuma Bamideel Azikiwe, the first son of Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe is dead.  He was said to have passed on at the Broneo Hospital at aged 75 years.

Chukwuma Bamidele Azikiwe was said to have battled a respiratory ailment for many years.

Before his death, he was the Owelle of Onitsha, a traditional title he inherited form his father.  As the Owelle of Onitsha, he was the sixth in tradition ranking in Onitsha.

Burial arrangement will be announced by the family.
