2baba (Tuface) buried his father, Michael Agbo Idibia today at their home tomw Amufe Ejeba in Enumoga Ehaje Okpokwu Local Governement Area of Benue State.

 

Pa Michael Agbo Idibia died on August 23rd 2014 after a battle with cancer.

50 people arrested for the killing of a christian couple in Pakistan

Fifty people have been arrested in connection with this week's killing of a Christian couple who were beaten and killed after a local mullah declared them guilty.  The couple were accused of desecrating the holy Quran.  The incident happened in Kasur District in Punjab province of Pakistan.

 

The mob was said to have marched to their home, broke the door and dragged them aside.  The couple were identified as shyman Bibi Urf Shamar (wife) and her husband as Sajjad Nasir Zihjah Nazir Nazir.

Ahmed Javon, a background singer has claimed that a song ''XOXO'' he wrote and shared with another background singer ended up in Beyonce's hands.  And she released  a song XO which he says is a copycat of his song XOXO.  Ahmed has therefore dragged Beyoncé to court.

He now wants Beyoncé to cough out $3million.

65-year-old Man in court for defrauding a Briton N5m

65-year-old Nze Corlinius is standing trial before the Senior Magistrate Court Abuja on a four count charge of criminal conspiracy, impersonation, theft and cheating. 

 

Mr. Nze Corlinius was alleged to have also under false pretence fraudulently collected the sum of N5m from Mr. Harris.

6 months jail term for street beggers

The chambers of the National Assembly today jointly passed a bill approving  among other punishment a jail term of six months to anybody caught begging or using a disabled person to beg for alms in the public.

 

A copy of the  harmonised version of the bill obtained by Punch today showed that anyone or group of people who employ or involve a disabled person in alms begging risked either a six – month imprisonment, a fine of N100,000, or both.

Huge protests still going on in Mexico City over the disappearance of 43 students

Huge protest are currently on going in the city of Mexico over the disappearance of 43 student teaches.  They are said to have disappeared from the Southern City of Guerrero in September and up till date nobody can say what happened to them.

 

The missing students who were studying at a rural college were all arrested by the police after some confrontation.

 

Two boys aged 11 and 13 have been taken back to South Africa after the arrest of their mother in Portugal for drug trafficking

Two South African boys aged 11 and 13 years whose mother was arrested in Portugal for trafficking drugs from Brazil to Portugal have been taken back to South Africa.

 

The boys who last saw their mother December 2013 had lived on the street of Sao Paolo Brazil for  up to 9 months before they were rescued by the South African embassy and taken back home.

''I just want to share the pictures before they find me''.  These were the words of David Kalac who uploaded the photographs of his murdered girlfriend Amber Lynn Schrew and the crime on a website famous for naked celebrity picture leaks.

David, 33, who fled after the crime but was arrested after the woman's body was found in her house told internet viewers who wanted to be sure the pictures were real, to check the news in few hours because the dead woman's son will be back from school, and will find the body and then call the cops.

Kylie Jenner, 17, is being sued for causing two motor accidents since obtaining her driving license within the last 12 months.

 

The first car crash happened in August 2013 and the plaintiff is suing the 17-year-old reality star for being a negligent driver after causing a three car pileup.

Osama bin Laden: See the Navy Seal who shot dead Osama bin Laden

The Navy Seal who shot dead Osama bin Laden in Pakistan on 2 May,2011 has been revealed.  He is Rob O'Neill, 38, a highly decorated veteran who has now quit the service after 16 years.

 

He is regarded as one of the most distinguished members of the elite force.  O'Neill who was personally congratulated for killing Osama said he did it by putting three shots to Osama's forehead at close range.

Jeffery Azuka Okafor to be extradited to the UK for the murder of a UK based actor

Mr. Jeffery Azuka Okafor, 23 years, who is being accused of the murder of a UK based child actor Carl Asiedu, 19 years, is being arranged to be extradited to the UK to face trial.

 

Okafor is accused of stabbing Asiedu to death on August 1, 2009 outside a UK nightclub.  He later fled from the UK, but was caught on CCTV cameras boarding a flight to Nigeria.

An Assistant Director, Pension Department, Phina Chidi, Franklin Nwankwo and Pam Investment Properties have been arraigned by The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) before Justice Gabriel Kolawole of a Federal High Court for allowedly stealing and laundering N1.6bn pension funds.
 

 

Boko Haram invaded and left Ashaka cement factory with 8 Hilux trucks fully loaded with dynamites

Boko Haram last Tuesday launched attacks on the boarder towns of Nafada and Ashaka in Funakaye Local Governement Area of Gombe State as well as Ngalda.  They were said to have left the Ashaka cement factory with eight Toyota Hilux trucks fully loaded with dynamites.

Synagogue Collapsed Building: TB Joshua cannot appear before the court because the court did not summon him

Mr. Olalekan Ojo, who is representing the Synagogue Church of all Nations at the on going hearing to ascertain the reasons for the collapse of a  building which claimed 116 lives, informed the church that T.B Joshua did not appear before the court yesterday because he was not served any summon. He said the bailiff could not get hold of Joshua because being the chief mourner, he has been going around visiting and sympathising with those who lost loved ones in the collapse.
