IBB returns home after two months medical trip

Former Military President, Ibrahim Babangida yesterday returned home after spending almost two months abroad for medical  treatment.

 

The former leader, who left the country for treatment in Germany on September 6, arrived Minna airport at about 2.50pm looking hale and hearty.  He left the airport in a convoy and arrive his home at 3.15pm.  He thanked all Nigerians for their goodwill messages while he was away.

See portraits of those who labour and those who survived Ebola at an Ebola treatment centre in Liberia.  The centre is run by American Charity International Medical Corps.  The clinic employs more than 170 workers, a mix of locals and foreigners, some of them volunteers.

She was one of the Spice Girls.  But as a fashion designer, Victoria Beckham has excelled beyond expectation.

 

Last week she was named Britain's top entrepreneur for building a business empire expanding so fast that it is eclipsing her football husband.  And the cash has followed very fast also.

 

The Beckham home is valued at Pound 210 million with Victoria contributing Pound 100 million.  Her business empire grew from Pound 1 million to Pound 30 million over a decade.

Kourtney Kardashian went shopping with her kids and Momager Kris

Kourtney went shopping with her mother and her two kids Penelope (2) and Mason (4) on Saturday at Neiman Marcus in the Topanga Mall in Los Angeles.

 

She was dressed in black hoodie jacket, matching top and leggings.  Kris instead opted for a youthful ensemble.  She chose to style herself in a red and black plaid coloured shirt with black leggings and lace-up boots.

Ebola Update: A UN nurse who contrated Ebola is currently undergoing treatment in France

According to the Health Ministry France, an employee of the United Nations who was working in Sierra Leone and contracted Ebola has been securely evacuated from Sierra Leone and is currently undergoing treatment in France.

 

The UN employee whose name was not given has been placed in isolation under high security in an army training hospital in Saint Made near Paris.  A French nurse who also contracted Ebola while working for Doctors without Borders in Liberia was successfully treated in this same hospital.
