Step-father bite off step-son's ear

 
There was confusion on Saturday in the Ebute Meta area of Lagos State after a truck loader, Udeme Inim, 30, allegedly bit off his stepson’s ear.
The incident happened around 11am on Asaka Street, off Abule-Nla Road, Ebute Meta West.
It was gathered that there had been a disagreement between Inim and his wife, which had led to the suspect assaulting her.  It was learnt that when the victim, Christopher Bassey, intervened, Inim left his wife and attacked him.

Robbers kill hotel manager for trailing them

Tragedy struck in the Noforija, Epe area of Lagos State after a robbery gang stabbed to death a hotel manager, Oduwobi Olalekan.  The incident happened on Wednesday around 10pm in the 12/30 Hotel where the 40-year-old was a manager.
It was learnt that the hotel is owned by a government official in the state.
An eyewitness and a resident, Semiu Abiodun stated  that the robbers had sneaked into the community without being seen by security men.

A former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has reacted to an allegation by Fani-Kayode that within six months of an APC government, Tinubu would order the party’s Vice-Presidential candidate, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo to resign and that he, Tinubu would take control of the presidency.

Senator Tinubu in his reaction has come out to say that the former Minister of Aviation, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, left the All Progressives Congress because the APC as a party refused to influence the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to drop the charges against him.

Drogba talented 16-year-old son, who plays for Chelsea chooses England over Ivory Coast


 
Isaac, the 16-year-old son of Didier Drogba, Ivory Coast football hero and all time highest goal scorer said that his son has opted to play for England rather than Ivory Coast.
 
While speaking with Sports Illustrated Drogba revealed that his son, who is currently a youth player at Chelsea, will opt to represent the Three Lions if he manages to make the grade as a professional foot baller.  

Dead Delta State University lecturer and two others dismissed for misconduct

 
A dead lecturer, who was accused of rape before his demise, has been dismissed alongside two others by the authorities of the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka.
 
While the deceased don, identified as Mr Ifeanyi Ogu-Raphael of the Department of Theatre Arts, was accused of raping a female student, the two others were given dismissed over unprofessional conducts.

Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, the Director of Media and Publicity of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organisation (PDPPCO), has lashed out at the national leader of the APC, Senator Bola Tinubu and other members of the party saying they are not God. 
 
This was contained in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja, on Monday. 
 
“Whether the APC wishes me well or not, I shall live long and prosper. What they think about me is neither here nor there and I lose no sleep over it. It is only what God thinks about me that matters and they are not God.
