Prof. Osinbajo, the APC VP Candidate visits Lekki Palms Mall

The All Progressive Congress Vice Presidential Candidate, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo after his two-hour meeting with young entrepreneurs, entertainers, professional bloggers and journalists at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island made a stop-over at Lekki Palms Mall where he gave a short speech and wished everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

He was seen moving around the mall, shaking hands with people, signs autograph and took selfies.

Ebola Update: Another Lock Down Imposed in Sierra Leone

Another lock down has been imposed on the northern Port Loko in Sierra Leone in an attempt to halt the spread of the deadly Ebola fever virus in the country, said Information Minister Alpha Kanu.  This time, residents in northern Port Loko are prevented from travelling.

 

“There will be no travelling from this part of the country. No one will go in or out of Port Loko,” said Kanu on a radio programme.

 

The minister said food would be distributed to families in the affected region.

 

Woman arrsted on drug charges dies after crack pipe was removed from her vagina

April Rollison, 31, was arrested in Babson Park for drug possession along with three other people.  During a body scan, two foreign objects were spotted inside her body cavity.  She was then taken to Barlow Regional Medical Centre to have the foreign object removed.

 

It is believed while the nurse was trying to fetch a bedpan, Rollison pulled a bottle hidden inside her vagina and ingested some of the cracks concealed inside.

 

 

El Rufai picks Kaduna APC Chairman as running mate

El Rufai, the All Progressive Congress gubernatorial candidate for Kaduna State has picked the APC Chairman in Kaduna, Mr. Barnabas Bantex as his running mate for the 2015 general elections.

Members of his party (APC) are said to be happy with his choice.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's Television Station shut by Lagos State for refusing to pay tax

The office of Infinity Television Station own by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has been shut by official of Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) over millions of naira the TV station is owning the Lagos Sate Government.  It was shut on 23rd December 2014.

The Direct To Home (DTH) Cable TV was incorporated by Pastor Chris in 2009 and operates from 16 Moyibat Oyefusi Street, Omole Phase.  Sources also said that they are owning their workers 10 months salary.

According to TMZ magazine, Kim Kardashian is upset for a very good reason ... as hard as she's been trying, she can't get pregnant.

Kim has been very open with friends and family ... she and Kanye have been trying to have another baby for the last 9 months but nothing has worked. Kim has been to fertility doctors, but they've made it clear ... having another baby is a long shot.

Turns out North West was a miracle baby ... she had 3 specialists tell her she couldn't get pregnant before North was conceived.

Policeman who shot up coming artist Olasore Oluwafemi has been arrested

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a police inspector said to have allegedly fired a shot at a commercial cab in the Agric, Ikorodu area of Lagos State, which hit an up and coming artiste, Olasore Oluwafemi.

 

The state police spokesperson, Kenneth Nwosu, said the policeman had been transferred to the police headquarters pending the conclusion of investigations.

 

 

 

US drone kills 7 militants in Pakistan

Two suspected US drones fired missiles at militant hideouts in northwest Pakistan on today killing at least seven fighters, Pakistani intelligence officials said.

 

The attacks took place in the same area where the Pakistani army has been mounting an air-and-ground operation against Pakistani Taliban insurgents who are fighting against the government in order to set up a sharia state in Pakistan.

Man in court for trying to lodge fake $38,000 into a UBA account

A 25-year-old man, Dare Samuel, has been arraigned by the police in a Yaba Magistrate’s Court, Lagos State, for trying to save a fake sum of $38,000 (about N7m) in a bank.

 

It was learnt that the suspect was arrested on November 26, at a branch of the United Bank for Africa Plc in Ikeja, the state capital, when he wanted to deposit the sum.

 

Source gathered that a banker, who was attending to the suspect, raised the alarm after confirming the notes to be fake.

Bruce Jenner attends ex-wife's Kris Jenner's Christmas Eve party

Despite their divorce, Bruce and his ex-wife Kris seem to still be on very good terms.

 

The 65-year-old Bruce on Thursday made an appearance at the Christmas Eve bash organised by his ex-wife Kris in her Hidden Hills California house.   Kim (34), Khloe (30), Kendall (19) and Kylie (17) were all guests at the bash.

 

The former Olympian was seen smiling for the cameras and seemed to be in a good mood.  He had his hair slicked back and did not have any make-up on.

 

Kim and her husband  Kanye also attended the party, though they were said to have kept a very low profile.

Mel B's daughter Phoenix have spoken out in defence of her stepfather Stephen Belafonte, saying through her twitter handle that everyone should chill, that Stephen never hit her mother and that she doesn't know how that stupid rumour came to be.

 

The 15-year-old made the above statement in response to criticisms that a photo of herself and Stephen which he posted on instagram, of them doing their last minutes shopping on Christmas Eve.
