Helen Paul opens a multi million naira academy in Lagos

Nigerian comedienne, singer, actress Helen Paul aka ''TATAFOO'' has opened a multi million naira academy in Lagos.

According to Chuddytv, the academy which is of an international standard will be run by best hands and will offer courses such as dance, Video Editing, Photography, Cinematography, Acting, Sound Engineering, Graphic Design etc.

US Ebola nurse flew with 132 passengers the day before developing symptoms

Authorities are now racing to trace and contact those who were on board a flight from Ohio to Texas with a nurse who has developed the Ebola symptoms.

The American nurse identified as Amber Vinson, who contracted the virus from Liberian Thomas Eric Duncan  is said to have taken a flight just a day before she developed the Ebola symptoms with Frontier Airlines from Cleveland, Ohio to Dallas-Forth Worth on October 13.

Gunmen attacked Jos Teaching Hospital, kills one guard

There was pandemonium today at the University Teaching Hospital Jos, Plateau State when gunmen who entered the hospital through the Laminga hospital gate invaded the hospital killing one security guard.

The gunmen who came in a Vectra car tried forcing their way in without going through the normal security checks.   But the security guards at the gate insisted on checking the booth of their car, found the booth filled with arms, and raised the alarm.  The gunmen then opened fire, shot one of the security guards and sped off.  Attempts to save the life of the guard at the hospital where he was rushed to failed.

The incident threw the entire hospital into panic as some patients tried discharging themselves, while others on visits hurriedly left the hospital.

$1.69m Fraud Charge: Fred Ajudua freed by the court

A Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos today freed one time Lagos socialite and businessman Fred Ajudua, on charges of defrauding two Dutch businessman of $1.69M.

Ajudua who was standing trial alongside Alex Okorie were alleged by the EFCC to have deceived the victims by claiming that the money was for sundry payments to several government officials.

US Ebola outbreak: Another health worker tests positive to Ebola virus

A second health worker who also treated Liberian Thomas Eric Duncan has tested positive to the Ebola virus.  The health worker who reported a case of fever on Tuesday was immediately isolated.

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital quickly identified all potential exposed contacts and are now all  placed under monitoring.
