According to Premium Times newspaper, the Resident
Commissioner for the Independent National Electoral Commission in Kano,
Mikaila Abdulahi and his family are dead.
They were all said to have died in a strange fire incident which occurred
in his residence last night or early this morning.
Details of the incident is still very sketchy but
sources said Mr. Mikaila and his wife and two children were all killed in the
incident.
The spokesperson of the Kano
state Command of the Police confirmed the incident.
