Woman Detected By X-ray As She Tries To Smuggle 8-Year-Old Inside A Suitcase Into Spain

This is the incredible X-ray that shows an eight-year-old boy hidden inside a woman's tiny suitcase as she tried to smuggle him into Spain.

Customs officials stopped a 19-year-old woman trying to get in through the Cueta border, who was acting suspiciously.

Expecting to find drugs, they were shocked to see instead a clear outline of the youngster curled up inside Moroccan woman's luggage. 

The child, of sub-Saharan origin and believed to be no older than eight, was checked by medics and taken into the care of social services.

A 20-year-old SNP student has booted out Labour heavyweight Douglas Alexander in one of the biggest coups by the Scottish nationalists.

 

Mhairi Black overturned the shadow foreign secretary’s huge 16,000 majority to win by a comfortable margin of 5,684 votes in the Paisley and Renfrewshire South seat. She is set to be the youngest MP in Parliament and the youngest since the 19th century.

 

In an interview with her first published on 24^th April 2015, Mhairi Black with a smile, a chuckle and a little bit of youthful earnestness, the SNP candidate for Paisley and Renfrewshire South, sought to persuade the wavering voter.

 

“This is a real chance,” she said. “Things like this don’t come along very often.”  That is true Ms. Black.  They certainly do not.

 

If elected, the 20-year-old will become the youngest MP since 1667, when Christopher Monck, aged 13 and a half, became knight of the Shire for Devon. She will go to London to be enrolled in her first graduate job – member of Parliament – and a couple of weeks later return to take her final Glasgow University exam, on Scottish politics.

Three Killed, Twenty Injured As Boko Haram Attack School In Yobe State

Three students were said to have been killed while at least twenty others injured when Boko Haram attacked the College of Administrative and Business Study ( CABS), Potiskum, in Yobe State at about 8.30 am this morning.

A source stated that the insurgents numbering about five entered the school through the main gate after overpowering and killing the security guards and opened fire on the students.
 

The source further added that, one of the insurgents died as a result of I.E.D strapped to his chest that exploded, and injured over twenty students.
 

Medical workers are said to have arrived the scene of the incident evacuating both the dead and injured victim.

British Airways Flight BA307 Declares Mid-Air Emergency

 

The British Airways (BA) flight BA307 travelling from Paris to London declared an emergency mid-air, according to reports.

The Airbus A320-232 departed from the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris at 9.30am this morning and reportedly declared an emergency at 10am while flying over the English Channel.

The plane has now landed safely at London Heathrow airport.

A spokesperson for BA said the plane landed after a "suspected technical problem".

The spokesperson said: "Our highly trained pilots landed the aircraft safely at Heathrow after a suspected technical problem. Safety and security is always our top priority."

 

Brazilian Pele Undergoes A Successful Prostate Surgery

 

Brazil legend Pele has undergone prostate surgery and is said to be in a stable condition stated a

 a Sao Paulo hospital source.

This is the second time Pele, 74, has been hospitalised in six months.

In a statement, the Albert Einstein Hospital said Pele had undergone a transurethral resection of the prostate. The procedure involves removing an internal part of the prostate gland in order to treat an enlarged prostate.

American Doctor Declared Free Of Ebola Finds The Virus In His Eye Weeks Later

American doctor Ian Crozier was treated for Ebola in Atlanta last year and declared free of the virus in his blood. But he had no way of knowing it still lurked in his eye.

Weeks after he was released from the hospital, he experienced a piercing pain in his left eye. The pressure in his eye elevated while his vision decreased.   After repeated tests, doctors discovered the virus was still living in his eye.

His case has left doctors stunned and highlighted the need for eye checkups for Ebola survivors.

Crozier, 43, was hospitalized at Emory University Hospital for more than a month in September after contracting the disease in Sierra Leone, where he worked at a hospital.

A Pakistan Military Helicopter carrying Foreign Diplomats Crashes

 

A Pakistani military helicopter carrying foreign diplomats in the mountainous region of Gilgit-Baltistan has crashed, killing six people, the military says.

 

Two ambassadors and two wives of ambassadors were among those killed in Friday's crash.

 

The dead include Norwegian Ambassador Leif Larsen, Philippines Ambassador Domingo Lucenario Jr, and the wives of the Malaysian and Indonesian ambassadors to Pakistan.

 

Dutch ambassador Marcel de Vink and Polish ambassador Andrzej Ananicz were injured in the crash.

The MI-17 helicopter was carrying 17 people, including 11 foreigners, the military’s spokesperson Major-General Asim Bajwa said in an earlier statement.

David Cameron today returned to Downing Street as Prime Minister after securing a shock election victory which is set to deliver an overall majority for the Torries.

A deflated Ed Miliband stated that he was deeply sorry for Labour difficult and disappointing election night.  There are doubts Mr Miliband will survive as leader until Friday lunchtime, as he faces being left with fewer seats than Gordon Brown, slumping to 233.  There are opinions from some quarters that he will most likely throw in the towel much later today.

Killer Who Killed And Ate Man's Heart Sentenced To 18 Years In South Africa

A murderer who ate his victim's heart with a knife and fork in a bizarre bid 'to prove he wasn't gay' has been jailed for 18 years in South Africa.

Zimbabwean Andrew Chimboza pleaded guilty to stabbing 62-year-old Mbuyiselo Manona to death at the home of Manona's lover in Cape Town's Gugulethu township in June last year.

When officers arrived at the scene they found the 35-year-old 'busy eating' Mr Manona's heart 

Mr Manona had reportedly accused Chimboza of having sex with his partner , and had attacked the younger man in a fit of rage.

But Chimboza apparently overpowered him - allowing him to commit the horrendous crime. 

More Than 150 Passengers Rescued From Burning Ferry In The Mediterranean

 

 More than 150 passengers had to be rescued from a burning ferry that was crossing Mediterranean en route from Mallorca to the Spanish mainland.

Spanish emergency services managed to safely evacuate the passengers from the vessel, which was travelling to the port of Valencia, government and port authorities confirmed.

It came after the 'Sorrento' ferry, belonging to the Italian company Atlantica di Navigazione although operated by Trasmediterranea-Acciona sent out distress signals.

The Police In Akwa Ibom Have Arrested A Woman Who Sold Her Baby For N150,000

 

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has recovered a baby boy, David Johnny, who was stolen by a doctor with the connivance of his mother, Esther Johnny, and sold to a woman in Abuja.

It was learnt that the mother initially denied knowledge of the crime as the police intensified efforts to unravel the whereabouts of the baby.

The Assistant Commissioner of Police, State Criminal Investigation Department, Akwa Ibom State, Mike Okoli, said this in Uyo on Tuesday.

He stated that when the police apprehended the doctor, he tried to frustrate police investigation into the matter.

He added that the police had to tell the doctor that they would charge him to court for child kidnapping if he failed to produce the missing child.

The CP said, “The police in Akwa Ibom State have rescued a baby boy, David Johnny, who was stolen when he was three-day-old and handed over to a doctor in Port Harcourt. The baby was subsequently taken to Abuja.

I Was Paid N10,000 - Ogun School Girl's Cousin

 

Kelvin Okorie (aka Okito), the maternal cousin of the 15-year-old Ogun schoolgirl, Precious Nwaigwe, who was kidnapped and sold to Libya, has said he was paid N10,000 for the deal.

Okorie spoke on Tuesday at the Police Command Headquarters in Ikeja, where he was paraded along with his friend, Ogbonna Njoku (aka John).

Njoku’s brother, Nzube Chukwu, who is based in Libya, was said to have taken custody of Precious before selling her to a pimp.

The pimp claimed she bought Precious for $6,000 and forced her to work for the money.

Precious returned to the country on Friday after she finished paying the money and an additional 500 dinars.

She said she was betrayed by Okorie, who she trusted.

Precious on Tuesday said she observed Okorie arguing with his friends over money, without suspecting that it was his share of her sale that he was asking for.

She also admitted joining street girls in Libya, after she was tortured by the pimp so she could raise the $6,000.

A Sign At An Airport In Indonesia Spelling Out The Stiff Penalty For Drug Traffickers

According to Abike Dabiri during an interview on Channels TV yesterday, she said signs such as the one above are all over the airport at Indonesia.   She also said as at the last time the house sent a delegation on an official visits to Indonesia as regards Nigerians in Indonesian prisons, that 28 Nigerians were on death role.  And that if the Indonesia government refuse to change their death penalty law for drug traffickers, we should expect to see more Nigerians undergoing executions.

Bode George Lied, I Never Apologised To Him - Ahmed Tinubu

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the APC national leader has denied the statement from Chief Bode George that he (Tinubu) has apologized to him for being part of those who orchestrated his imprisonment.

Chief Bode George had  stated last week that Tinubu apologized to him during the burial of the Deputy President-General of Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Alhaji Abdul-Azeez Arisekola Alao, last years. 

But Tinubu through his media adviser, Mr. Sunday Dare said he couldn’t have apologized to Bode George because he was never part of those who sent him to jail.  He further stated that it was Bode’s own party PDP who jailed him.

The ex-Lagos State Governor explained that although they both met at Arisekola Alao’s burial, their conversation had nothing to do with an apology.

He said, “Mr. George claims the alleged apology was made at the burial of Chief Alao Arisekola. On that date, personalities such as Oba Otudeko and Governor Ajimobi approached me because I did not greet Mr. George initially. They pleaded that, in the memory of the man we were all gathered to honour, I should greet Mr. George. At their request, I turned back and came to greet him by saying, ‘Good afternoon Egbon (senior)’. That was all.”

Breaking News: Nigeria Troops Rescue 293 Women And Girls From Sambisa Forest - Chris Olukolade

News just coming in says the Nigeria troops have stormed the dreaded Sambisa forest and rescued more than 293 women and girls. 

The PRNigeria gathered that at least three major terrorists’ camps have been destroyed in the well-coordinated attacks that include the destruction of the notorious Tokumbere camp in the Sambisa Forest.

While confirming the operation the Director Defence Information, Major General Chris Olukolade said he could not confirm the identity of the freed victims and their origins and he could not state if any of them was from Chibok until after thorough screening and proper investigations.

He said: “I can only confirm the rescued this afternoon of 200 girls and 93 women in different camps in the forest. We are yet to determine their origin as all the freed persons are now being screened and profiled. Please don’t misquote me on their origin. We will provide more details later.”

Confirmed: 8 Drug Convicts Executed In Indonesia

 

Eight drug convicts were executed by an Indonesian firing squad this evening, but a Filipina who was on death row with the Australians, Nigerians (4), a Brazilian and an Indonesian was unexpectedly not among them.

They were shot dead by firing squads comprising 12 police privates shortly after midnight (6pm BST).

The execution of the Filipina was delayed at the last minute after one of her recruiters surrendered to police in the Philippines, the attorney general's spokesman said.

"The execution of Mary Jane (Veloso) has been postponed because there was a request from the Philippine president related to a perpetrator suspected of human trafficking who surrendered herself in the Philippines," said Tony Spontana, spokesman for the attorney general.             

 

The Indonesia government went ahead with the execution despite cries and condemnation from people, civil societies and countries.

I believe that the Afrikaner is honest, God fearing person, who has demonstrated practically the right way of being. By now every one of us has seen it practically that the Blacks cannot rule themselves.

Give them guns and they will kill each other. They are good in nothing else but making noise, dancing, marrying many wives and indulging in sex.

 Let us all accept that the Blackman is a symbol of poverty, mental inferiority, laziness and emotional incompetence. Isn’t it plausible? Therefore that the Whiteman is created to rule the Blackman……And here is a creature (Blackman) that lacks foresight….. The average Black does not plan his life beyond a year”.
