Sir Elton John and his partner, Sir David Furnish are set to officially tie the knot this month. They will officially marry in a private intimate ceremony at Windsor Estate.
Both men entered into a civil partnership on December 21, 2005. They will also be using the opportunity to celebrate their nine-year anniversary.
In 2005, Elton John, 67, and David, 52, were among British first same-sex couples to tie the knot when civil partnership were granted.
Elton John who is known for his flamboyancy has decided that this will be a low-key affair. Only close friends and family members will be invited.
The couple who have been together for 21 years have 2 children (sons), Zachary (3) and Elijah (23 months) and both boys will act as ring bearers.
