I saw police recovered five guns and rounds of ammunitions from Chief Bode George and Agbaje's thugs - Musiliu Obanikoro

Musiliu Obanikoro, a former Minister for Defence and one of the governorship aspirants on the PDP platform for Lagos State has accused  a leader of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos, Chief Olabode George and the governorship candidate of the party, Mr. Jimi Agbaje of recruiting armed thugs to achieve their aim of manipulating the primary election that was held December 8 in Lagos.

He said he saw the police recovered five guns and rounds of ammunitions from the thugs brought to the venue by Chief Olabode George and Jimi Agbaje.

According to the former minister, “I also saw the police recovered five guns and rounds of ammunition and live cartridges from the thugs brought by Chief Olabode George and Mr. Jimi Agbaje, a co-aspirant.”

These allegations are all contained in a affidavit filed before a Federal High Court in Abuja in support of his suit number FHC/ABJ/CS/994/2014, in which he challenged  the conduct of the primary held on December 8.

Onbanikoro scored 343 votes while Jimi AGbaje scored 432 votes to be declared the winner.  But Obanikoro filed a suit  on December 15 asking the court to nullify the elections.
