Mel B's husband have had previous arrest for burglary, vandalism, assaulting the mother of his child, beating a mallard to death with a brick and engaging in a public fight with three men

It happens that Mel B's husband, 39-year-old Stephen Belafonte have had strings of convictions hanging on his neck and run-ins with police dating back twenty years.

 

He has bee prosecuted for handling stolen goods, beating the mother of his child and killing a mallard with a brick.

 

 

In 2010, Belafonte was involve in a fight with three men at the Five Star May Fair Hotel.  After the brawl, one man was left needing hospital treatment.

 

Stephen Belafonte, who Mel B's fans have accused of assaulting her have denied these allegations.  Fan alleged that there were scratches on Mel B's body when she appeared on TV and after spending three days at the hospital where she was said to have been treated for stomach ulcer.

 

Mel B who married Stephen in 2007 was said to have been shocked at his past, but still went on to marry him.
