Another terror attack in Paris, Police woman killed, street sweeper seriously injured

A policewoman was shot in the back and killed, while a street sweeper was shot in the face in another attack on the street of Paris today.

The policewoman whose name is yet to be released died this morning in Montrouge a suburb in the South of the French capital.

The shot street sweeper who had stepped in to try and disarm the gunman is said to be in a critical condition after being shot in the face.

It is not yet known if this attack has any links with the Charlie Hebdo attack of yesterday which claimed 12 lives.

 

The dead policewoman was said to have stopped to investgate a traffic accident when the shooting occurred.

 

The shooter is believed to have be armed with an M15 assault rifle.
