The Cockpit Voice recorder of AirAsia Flight QZ8501 has been retrieved from the sea, to be sent to Jakarta for analysis

The Black Box Voice Recorder of crashed flight QZ8501 was today retrieved by divers from the Java sea and it will be sent to Jakarta for analysis.
 
The recorder holds vital information about the last moments of flight QZ8501.
 
AisAsia Flight QZ8501 took off from Indonesia's Surabaya airport to Singapore but crashed into the Java sea on December 28, 2014 with 162 people on board.  Click on More below to read more story and see more pictures....
 
 
Officials says the plane exploded on impact.  Initial analysis of the wreckage showed that the aircraft shattered because the cabin had not depressurized when it slammed into the water.
 
Divers have also found the second black box but they are yet to retrieve it from the debris on the floor of the sea.
 
The flight recorder monitors data such as airspeed and the aircraft heading, while the cockpit voice recorder stores radio transmission and sound from within the cockpit.
