The Ebonyi State House of Assembly was at the
early hours of today razed down by fire.
The fire which was said to have stated in the accounts department spread
to the media section of the complex.
The fire according to a source, destroyed many
properties including sensitive documents of the House.
Sources are hinting that there was definitely a
foul play as the State Accountant General is planning to do a forensic audit
before the fire incident occurred.
Policemen with Amoured Personnel Carrier, APC
were seen stationed at the gate of the Assembly complex as journalists and
other workers were not allowed into the complex.
