Gabon, the central African country has
beaten Algeria and Ghana to the hosting right of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations
The governing body
announced this on Wednesday afternoon in Cairo after the Executive Committee
had voted after all bidding countries had made their presentations.
Caf president Issa
Hayatou made this known just before the qualiifying draws were made.
Gabon beat Algeria and
Ghana to the hosting right of the competition.
The tournament
will come less than five years since Gabon co-hosted the 2012
