First consultant hospital Lagos, the hospital where the now dead
Liberian man Patrick Sawyer was taken to has indicted the Liberian Ambassador
to Nigeria.
According to the Vanguard newspaper, the hospital said at
the height of the crises when the hospital refused Patrick Sawyer leaving their
premises due to the seriousness and infectious nature of his sickness he
brought to Nigeria, the Ambassador threatened to take a legal action against
the hospital insisting that not releasing Patrick Sawyer was tantamount to
kidnap and abuse of his human rights.
The Medical Director of the hospital Dr. Benjamin Ohiaeri
said because Patrick Sawyer’s decision to leave the hospital was declined, he
unleashed his bio-terror on the staff of the hospital which led to the hospital
losing four of its staffs.
