Police in Meiran area of Ijaiye Ojokoro, Lagos State have arrested and are currently interrogating a custom officer over the death of his 17 year old daughter.
The man was said to have beaten his daughter - a medical student of University of Benin to death and hurriedly buried her.
He was however arrested, when some landlords on Olajide Byron way reported the incident to the police.
Narrating his own side of the story, the accused said the girl suddenly started vomiting blood after eating food prepared by his 2nd wife.
Why he hurriedly buried her without an autopsy, he said he had to follow the Muslim tradition of burying her on time since they are Muslims.
It was however confirmed that other four children ate from the same food without any incident.
