A man in Anambra State is undergoing investigation following the sudden death of a 7-month pregnant woman.
According to the police, the man had taken the pregnant woman to a hotel in Onitsha on Tuesday evening, and by Wednesday morning, the woman was found to be dead.
Sources in the area said both the man and the pregnant woman were lovers. And it is believed both went into the hotel for a marathon sex bout. And that she may have died out of exhaustion.
Nobody from the deceased family has come forward to identify the body. Her body has been deposited in the mortuary.
Confirming the incident, the Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer,
PPRO, Mr. Uche Ezeh, said the command received the information concerning the
incident, disclosing that the suspect had been arrested and case transferred to
the State Criminal Investigations Department, SCID, Awka, for further
investigations.
