Ashaka Update: 67 Boko Haram terrorists killed during the fierce battle with troops

67 terrorist members of the Boko Haram sect were said to have been killed during the battle at the Ashaka Cement Plant, Gombe between them and the Federal troops.

 

The terrorists invaded the Ashaka town with the intention of taking it over, with a large number of their members, large equipment and a convoy of over 30 vehicles and motorcycles.

 

 

 

The troops who got wind of the invasion plans of the insurgents pursued and lay ambush for them.  At the end 67 of the terrorists were killed, while most of their vehicles and equipment were destroyed.

 

10 Nigerian soldiers were lost in this encounter.
