The man is believed to be one of two Sudanese men thought to have climbed under the lorry at Calais on Friday. They decided to leave under the vehicle after becoming extremely cold after the lorry arrived England. But the dead man fell beneath the rear wheels when the lorry started to move off again.
The other man who was not injured have been detained by police on suspicion of immigration offences. Paramedics tried to revive the man but he died at the scene.
Many number of migrants have been trying to enter the UK through Calais in recent months. With vast majority of them being from Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia and Syria.
