Woman, 23, dies aboard a London-to-Newark flight

A 23-year-old woman traveling alone aboard a flight from London to Newark Liberty International Airport died during the flight, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey confirmed the incident early hours of today.

 

The medical examiner and police arrived when United Flight 115 from Heathrow landed around 9:51 p.m. Monday to make the pronouncement.

 

A doctor attempted to assist the woman during the flight, a source said.   No information has been given by the airline.  And the cause of the death is still unknown.
