Vice President's wife loses a close relation in the Kano explosions

The wife of the Vice President of Nigeria, Namadi Sambo, Amina, is one of those who lost a close relation in the multiple explosions which took place at the Kano Grand mosque on Saturday.

To commiserate with her, the President's wife, Patience Jonathan with other wives of some top government officials paid her a condolence visit at their Aguda residence.

A statement from Patience Jonathan condemned the Kano blast and described it as man's inhumanity to man.  She appealed to the sect to come out and dialogue with the Federal Government.  She also enjoined all Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of togetherness of peaceful co-existence.
