Al-Makura campaign manager's daughter beheaded

Unidentified gunmen have beheaded Mrs. Amina Suleiman, the daughter of the Director General of Governor of Nasarawa State, Umaru Tanko Al – Makura’s Campaign Organisation, Mr. Musa Illu.

The deceased, who was seven months pregnant, was assassinated on Monday in her home in Katsina State.

It was gathered that her husband, Mr. Mohammed Suleiman, was on his way to Zaria at the time of the incident.

 

Narrating the incident in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital, Illu’s younger brother, Namairo Babai, said late Amina was found in a pool of blood.

He further explained that the victim’s head was separated from her body, while a knife protruded from her stomach.

Babai said, “Her husband was on his way to the ABU Zaria when the incident happened.

“After the weekend when he tried calling, but couldn’t get her, he sent someone to check.

“The person that that went to the couple’s apartment later called back and told him that his wife had been slaughtered.

Babai added that Amina, who got married two years ago, had been buried on Tuesday in her husband’s home town in Katsina State.
