Malaysia Airline website hacked

Malaysia Airlines’s website has been hacked by a group that posted a message proclaiming support for the Islamic State militant group.

The airline’s site was changed on Monday, at first with a message saying “404 - Plane Not Found” and “Hacked by Cyber Caliphate.” The browser tab for the website said, ‘’ISIS will prevail.”

Malaysia Airlines is struggling to recover from disasters last year, including the disappearance of Flight 370. The website was later changed to a picture of a lizard, and the claim of responsibility to “Lizard Squad — Official Cyber Caliphate.”

The Lizard Squad group claimed last year that it was behind attacks on Sony’s online PlayStation network. The airline said on Twitter that it was working on resolving the issue.
