Miss Colombia, Paulina Vega has been crowned Miss Universe 2015.
Vega beat 87 other contestants to ultimately take home the crown at the
63rd annual pageant.
The 22-year-old is currently studying business administration in college
and comes from a large family -- she has eight brothers and sisters.
Fun facts about Vega include the fact she sleeps with her eyes open and loves impromptu dance parties.
Miss Colombia Paulina Vega wowed the judges with her beauty, talents and intelligence at the annual beauty pageant. As a result, she came out the big winner followed by runner-up Miss USA Nia Sanchez.
During the questions and answer segment, she said her country has been a good examples for the rest of the world. And that the country has achieved a lot positively in different aspects.
Vega also impressed the judges when she was asked about what women could learn from men.
"I believe there are still men that do believe in equality," she said through a translator. "I believe that's what women should learn from men."
The big show was hosted by "Today's" Natalie Morales and featured a three-song medley by Nick Jonas.
