These photos shows an armed robber who was caught and burnt to death over the weekend in Benue State.
He is said to be part of an armed gang who robbed a bank in the State. During the robbery they had exchange of gunfire with the police who stormed the scene of the robbery immediately they were alerted.
We learnt the robbers were able to escape but with gun wounds. Their car later broke down close to a village and this particular one in these photos could not continue with his colleagues due to the gun wounds he had sustained.
He was beaten to a pulp by the villagers who set him on fire despite pleas that he should be handed over to the police.
