Justin Timberlake and wife Jessica Biel have
welcomed their first child.
The couple's rep confirmed the arrival of
their son, Silas Randall Timberlake, on Saturday and told People the
34-year-old singer is 'ecstatic' and both mom and baby are doing
well.
The Suit & Tie hit
maker finally confirmed Jessica's pregnancy in January after months of
keeping it under wraps.
On the singer's 34th birthday
he shared a snap of him kissing his wife's baby belly captioning: 'Thank you EVERYONE
for the Bday wishes! This year, I’m getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CAN’T
WAIT,'
According to his hashtags on
the image, the couple chose to wait until their baby's arrival to find out the
sex.
Justin's mum Lynn Harless was among the first
to congratulate the couple on Twitter.
She wrote: 'My amazing son and his beautiful
wife have given us the most precious gift in the world! Silas Randall
Timberlake! Named after my father and my son! Life is beautiful and we couldn't
be happier! God bless you all and thanks for all the congrats!'
The new grandmother then followed up with a
second tweet claiming her 'face hurts from smiling so much'
