It has been dubbed the Scottish wedding of
the year and there was a huge cheer when the happy couple emerged as man and
wife.
The new Mr and Mrs Murray, who announced
their engagement in November last year, tied the knot in the 12th century
cathedral before a relatively small group of their family members and close
friends.
At 5:43pm, bells rang out and the wedding
guests showered the newlyweds with confetti as they left the hour-long ceremony
in the cathedral in the tennis star's hometown.
The pair will now celebrate with a reception
at nearby Cromlix House, the £1.8million luxury country house hotel which the
star owns.
Earlier, Kim arrived at the venue in a silver
Rolls Royce and had to battle with the forecast rain; a smiling support team
including her bridesmaids, dressed in pink, helping to keep the hem of her
beautiful embroidered gown from trailing on the floor.
Her stunning dress, rumoured to be by Jenny
Packham, has three-quarter length sleeves and the bride was wearing her hair
swept back from her face in a half-up and half-down do. Kim's tousled brunette
locks were also pinned with a long, lace veil.
On her feet, a pair of strappy silver Jimmy
Choo sandals.
