Governor Rotimi Amaechi during an All Progressive Congress mega rally at the Adokie Amiesimaka stadium in Ikwerre Local Government Area of the state has pleaded with people to stop referring to President Jonathan as his brother.
He stated that the President has not executed any project in the state since ascending to his present position. Unlike his predecessors, President Yar'adua, IBB, Abacha, Tafawa Balewa, Shagari who all during their times executed various projects in the Niger Delta including NAFCON, Refinery, Eleme Petrochemical, NLNG, NDDC, Niger Delta Ministry despite the fact that they were not from that region.
President Jonathan and Governor Amaechi who are both from the same geopolitical zone of the country have been at each other over ceded oil wells and political differences.
