A Qatar flight from New York to Doha was diverted to manchester airport due to a disruptive passenger on board

A plane that was flying form New York to Doha was forced to make an unscheduled landing at the Manchester airport today because a drunk passenger who was on board the flight became disruptive and had to ne restrained.

 

The flight who had already completed about half of its journey was forced to turn back.

 

 

 

Police arrested the man immediately the aircraft landed at the airport.  The aircraft was left on the tarmac for about two hours before it took off again at about 11am local time for its original destination.
