According to reports, Joshua who has a ministry and an NGO in Taraba State, where he offers free medicine and clothing to the poor was returning to his station in Banteje, a village close to Jalingo, from an evangelistic outreach to some villages.
His vehicle was said to have broken down along the Wukari-Jalingo road when he was attacked by the herdsmen.
Pastor Adah, as he is popularly called graduated from ABU, Zaria. He was posted to Taraba State for his mandatory NYSC and decided to live in Taraba state after his completion of the service.
He met and married his wife in Taraba, and both decided to open an NGO to offer help to children of the poor after seeing the hardship the poor were going through.
He was said to have single handedly build and operate a school in a round hut from where he offered free education to the poor. The population of the school later grew to over 400. He also provided food and shelter to the poor.
