Ebola Update: Brazil now the latest country to carry out special screening of persons from Ebola hardest hit countries

Brazil is now the latest country to specially screen all persons from Ebola hardest hit countries.

The Health Minister, Arthur Chioro during a press conference said persons from Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia will be subjected to temperature checks.  They will also be given pamphlets with information on the symptoms of Ebola and where to seek for medical attention should they come down with such symptoms.  These measures he said will take place at the Guarulhos, in Sao Paulo.

He said his country will not enforce a total ban of persons from Ebola countries.

There have been two suspected Ebola cases in Brazil.  But after the test, both came out negative.
