Weird MC, born Adesola Adesinbo Idowu granted Vanguard newspaper an interview where she opened up and spoke about her early days growing up, her hit song Allen Avenue, her life as a musician etc.
She said as a child, she was always very energetic. And that is what she brings on stage anytime she is performing. And that her kind of music is a fusion of high life, brass, pop; a combination of everything. She calls herself a hip-hop fusionist.
When asked if she is ready to marry she has this to say:
Interviewer: Is weird MC planning to marry some time soon?
Weird MC: It’s in God’s hands.
Interviewer: But there is a man in your life?
Weird MC: Yes, there’s a man in waiting. You have to be patient.
According to her, she is currently in the studio working on a new album which will be out soon.
Weird MC was one of the artists who performed at the grand finale of this year's Felabration 2014
