It was cancelled to allow the Independent National Electoral Commission,
(INEC) officers’ easy access to their centres to distribute Permanent Voters Card
(PVCs) in the nine remaining local governments in Lagos.
The Lagos State
Government also said the cancellation will allow the people of Lagos to fully
participate in the ongoing collection of PVCs cards and registration exercise.
INEC is expected to work from tomorrow, Saturday up until Sunday
