According to the Washington Post, Hunter was discharged earlier this year after failing the test. He came out with a statement saying;
"It was the honour of my life to serve in the US Navy, and I deeply regret and am embarrassed that my actions led to my administrative discharge," Hunter Biden said. "I respect the Navy's decision. With the love and support of my family, I'm moving forward."
No comment yet from either his father's office nor that of the US Navy.
