The report said Compaore, who held power for 27 years,
arrived in Morocco last night with five other people. Compaore has not yet settled on a long-term
plan, the report said he would be in the country for a "fixed" term.
No other details were given.
Morocco's foreign affairs ministry expressed support for
Burkina Faso's transition process.
Longtime diplomat Michel Kafando was sworn in as interim
president on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Lt. Col. Isaac Yacouba Zida, who briefly
seized control after Compaore resigned, was named interim prime minister. Elections are expected next year.
