Thirteen years after the 9/11 terrorist attack, the newly re-built World Trade Centre has opened for business.
The 104-story, $3.9billion skyscraper built on the 16-acre site where the two destroyed towers once stood is now American tallest building and will be dominating the Manhattan skyline.
The 8 year construction of the 1,776 foot high skyscraper came after years of political, financial and legal fighting that threat ended to derail the project.
Skidmore, Owings and Merrill firm produced the final design of the tower which was built with steel reinforced concrete that makes it as terror attack proof as possible.
Amongst the occupants are Conde Nest, Kids Creative, Legends Hospitals, BMB Group, Servcorp etc.
