Apple CEO, Tim Cook is gay

In a public  declaration written for Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Cook said that while he never denied his sexuality, he never publicly acknowledged it.  He also revealed that he has been open with many people as regards his sexuality and that many of his colleagues are aware that he is gay.

Cook also challenged his home state of Alabama to ensure the rights of  lesbians, gay, bisexual and transgender are respected.  Alabama so far, do not recognise same sex marriage.

He said being gay is one of the greatest gifts God gave him.

He succeeded Apple founder Steve Jobs as CEO of Apple in 2011.
