A statement issued by the Permanent Mission of Nigeria to the UN, New York, on today said Aloysius died on Monday in New York, aged 77.
Aloysius, a surgeon, retired as Chief Consultant Surgeon at the Military Hospital, Ikoyi, Lagos. He is survived by his wife; Joy, five children, grand-children. Burial arrangements will be announced by the family.
