Three suspected drug traffickers who attempted to smuggle a total of 14.6kg of high grade cocaine from Brazil into Nigeria were arrested at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport today.
The Nigerian Drug and Law Enforcement Agency states that the drug traffickers were apprehended during an inward screening of passengers on an Emirate flight from Dubai. The drug were said to have been hidden in shoe soil and laptop bags.
The agency put the street value of the drug at N131millin.
Agu, one of the suspects had in his possession 1.65kg, Okoye was found with 1.670kg and the third passenger had with him11.3kg.
