Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has returned his expression of interest and the nomination forms ahead of the presidential primaries of the All Progressive Congress.
While handing over the forms, Atiku said, ''I want to, therefore, use this opportunity to return the two forms I collected - expression of interest and nomination forms, duly completed. I want to thank you again for the opportunity.''
The National Chairman of the party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun praised Atiku for his statesmanship saying, ''You have properly exemplified what APC stands for - well organised and seeking to be the first in everything, putting as priority the welfare of the people of this country.
Yesterday, 11th November 2014, the Adamawa State executive of APC endorsed his aspiration. At a press conference, the state Chairman of APC Hon. Binta Masi Garba maintained that Atiku remains a rare breed of politician in Nigeria.
